Once you have a project started, there are two ways you can add folders: using the Editor or using Navigation. Both options achieve the same ultimate result, but offer two unique user experiences depending on your preference. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to add folders using the Editor.
When you open a project, the default screen will be the Editor. If you’ve navigated to another page within your project, click the Editor tab on the left project panel to return.

From here, you can click “Add Sibling Folder” to add a new folder to your project. You can think of this as if you were adding a new chapter to a book.

The “Add Child Folder” button will allow you to add a folder within an existing folder. You can think of this as if you were adding a subchapter within a chapter.

When you add a new folder, the title bar will automatically be highlighted. Start typing to manually add a custom title, or click Generate and allow the AI to create one for you. (NOTE: The Generate feature creates a title based on the context it has to pull from, and therefore will generate the best results when the folder contains content.)

To change the folder image, right click the folder’s image window to open the image menu.

Use the menu tabs to search Unsplash for a free stock photo, browse your Gallery, Upload an external image, or use ImaGen to generate a custom AI image.
