In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to select, set up, and start a free Guide from the Marketplace.

Objectives:

Open the Marketplace from the Upper Toolbar

Locate the “Top Free Guides” section in the Marketplace

Select, set up, and start a free Guide

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

An active LegacyMaker account

An internet connection

Step by Step Walkthrough:

STEP #1:

From your dashboard, click the shopping bag icon on the upper toolbar to open the Marketplace.

STEP #2:

Scroll to the Top Free Guides section of the Marketplace.

STEP #3:

Selecting a Free Guide will reveal more information including the author, description, publish date, and a list of Guide sections. Click the blue “Free” button to begin.

STEP #4:

Here you will be asked to confirm your “purchase” for 0 credits – click yes.

STEP #5:

The Guide has now been imported into your account. Click the blue “Setup Guide” button to continue.

STEP #6:

Click within the title bar to add a custom title to your project.

STEP #7:

To change the cover image, click the existing image to open the image search window. Here you may use the search bar to search Unsplash, select an image from your Gallery, Upload a new image, or create a custom AI-generated image using ImaGen.

STEP #8:

Once you’re happy with your settings, click the blue “Continue” button.

STEP #9:

Here you will be asked to confirm your Guide settings – click yes.

STEP #10:

You’re now ready to start using your Guide! Please note that Guides will open in a vertical “mobile” format regardless of whether you are using LegacyMaker on your desktop or mobile device.
